Stairlift installation:
how we do it
A few hours are all it takes to install a Stannah stairlift and get your whole house back.
No mess. No fuss.
How is a stairlift installed?
Our stairlifts are attached to the stairs or the wall with minimal brackets. That means no damage to your stairs, no remodelling or extensive building work.
All that is needed is some light drilling, so you don’t need planning permission. It’s a quick, easy process that won’t cause too much disruption to you or your home.
Our mobility expert will also scan your stairs using our augmented reality Envisage app and show you in real time how your Stannah stairlift will look on your stairs.
What happens during a stairlift installation?
You can be home during the stairlift installation and watch our technicians as they work.
The only thing to consider is if you’re sensitive to dust. If you are, you might not want to be too near your stairs as there is some light drilling involved in the process.
But rest assured, we’ll always clean up after we’re finished. When our technicians are done with the installation, they give you back your house just the way they found it. But with one added benefit: your independence.
